' ribbons and bows' ( water colour ) Nov. 20, 2010.
I spent most of today trying to decide what to paint. But, decided on these beautiful flowers that are growing in the yard. The shadows cast on the leaves were also amazing.
I like the detail of the flowers with their long floaty filaments; and the abstract treatment of the leaves behind. I've never appreciated the beauty of a single Barbados Pride!
Thanks! You made me smile!! When I took this picture, there was a slight breeze blowing, and the leaves in the background almost looked like musical notes. I had to stop what I was doing and get my camera!
